Celebrate the magic of Christmas from the Victorian Era and meet real life characters
from Dickens novels. Enjoy the street market march to open the Christmas Festival along the High Street with the Mayor taking in the music, the festivities, outdoor theatres, minced pies and mulled wine.
Visit the Medway castle, and stroll along the River Medway, recounting the hidden gems of Dickens’ connections.

ITINERARY
- 9:00am – 9:10am: Meet the tour guide at Stratford International Station; outside the ticket office.
- 9.20am: Bord the train for journey to Rochester. Departs at 9:30am
- 10.am- Arrive at Rochester. Comfort break.
- 11.am- The Mayor’s March and opening of the festival with music and entertainment
- 12.00pm: Visitor Centre and exhibition.
- 1.00pm: Lunch (included)
- 2.00pm - 4.00pm: Explore the Christmas market. Shop until you drop!
- 4.30pm: Mulled wine and mince pies (optional on the streets)
- 5:00pm – 6:00pm: Snow and candlelit carol singing outside Rochester Cathedral.
- 6pm- Free time.
Return Journey to Stratford International.
